Dental Practice Office Administrator (Cape Town, Northern Suburbs)

Our client, who runs a successful Dental Hygienist Practice in the Cape Town Northern Suburbs, has an opportunity available for a friendly, detail orientated and experienced Dental Practice Office Administrator to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing daily operations for the practice while liaising with patients, suppliers, medical aid companies and relevant role players.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Answering and responding to telephone calls

  • Liaising with patients

  • Handling queries, pricing and quotations

  • Scheduling & confirming appointments

  • Verifying and updating patient & medical aid information

  • Managing billing & accounts

  • Administering day to day activities of the Dental Practice

Minimum Qualifying Criteria:

  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate

  • Relevant Course / Diploma would be advantageous

  • 3 Years Minimum Experience required

  • Excellent Written and Spoken Communication Skills

  • Sound Microsoft Office, Word & Excel and General Practice Management System Knowledge

  • Good Numerical and Accountancy Skills

  • Hard-working and enthusiastic
