Customer Service Consultant (Northern Suburbs, Cape Town)

Blinds Customer Service Consultant Position

Our client is a very successful business operating in the decor market, specialising in window coverings including blinds, shutters & curtains. Their ever expanding business requires a vibrant and dynamic Customer Service Consultant with 0 - 2 years' experience to join their team. This individual must be a excellent communicator, must have good negotiation and customer service skills.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Visiting potential and existing clients to advise and prepare quotes based on their needs;

  • Doing assessments and measurements while on premises to ensure that the correct measurements and details to prepare the quote is captured;

  • Communicating with colleagues to ensure that all meetings are confirmed in advance;

  • Conveying the needs of the client to the installation crew to ensure that they understand the needs of the client and that the requested installation is viable;

  • Completing reports, travel logs and ensuring that all relevant details are recorded as per management's instruction.

Minimum Qualifying Criteria:

  • Own, reliable transportation and Driver's Licence

  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate with good marks in Mathematics or Accounting

  • A Technical Tertiary Qualification would be advantageous

  • 0 - 2 Years Minimum Experience (On-the-job Training will be provided)

  • Excellent Written and Spoken Communication Skills in Afrikaans & English

  • Ability to work daily on Microsoft Office Products, including Word & Excel

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Hard-working and enthusiastic
