Conveyancing Secretary ( Northern Suburbs, Cape Town)

Our client, a successful law firm based in Bellville, has an opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join their team. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Working independently in all aspects of conveyancing, including transfers (residential and commercial), registration / cancellation of bonds and developments, etc.

  • Coordinating and maintaining attorneys’ diaries including organising of all appointments, meetings, travel arrangements etc.

  • Maintaining a filing system which enables the timely retrieval of documents.

  • Handling of wills and testimonies as per instruction.

  • Liaising with and greet current and potential clients.

  • Providing timely updates on statistics, reports, analysis and plans.

  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff.

  • Litigation typing as requested.

  • Collections.

 

Requirements:

  • Matric / grade 12 is essential

  • Diploma (Legal secretary / conveyancing qualification) is required

  • Experience of working with AJS would be advantageous

  • Experience of working with GhostConvey

  • Have sound knowledge of debt collecting

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Good organisational skills

  • High level of integrity
